CASE Releases “Goodbye Gary” Song and Animated Video

(ALEXANDRIA, Virginia) – Consumer Action for a Strong Economy (CASE) added a song and video to its Goodbye Gary campaign, in an attempt to further hasten Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler’s departure from the agency. President-elect Donald Trump has promised to fire Gensler on Day One of his incoming administration.

“This catchy tune should become an earworm throughout the SEC’s headquarters and across the country as employees and the American public count down to Mr. Gensler’s departure – whether by his choice or President Trump’s,” said Matthew Kandrach, president of CASE for Consumers.

Earlier this week, CASE released a radio and a television spot that have aired as part of a six-figure ad buy. CASE intends to continue the ad buy and add more content to the campaign.

“I think people are going to love this song, and another one we have coming. So much so that we’re going to release a singalong version,” Kandrach added.
